What I Played Today: September 3

I played some more Sea of Stars, and the combat is solid, and dungeon design is very cool, just a lot of little loops and redirections, but the story is pretty dumb, and we were just introduced to these pirate characters who seem very annoying, and I hope that it gives me something to work with soon.

A few rounds of Cursed to Golf, which is pretty good, although it’s run-based thing is not all that fun? Because there’s not much you can really do? Some holes are just harder than others, and they require a lot of precision, and you only have so many strokes per hole before you fail out, so it’s easy to fail.

I also bought Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, a 2000’s era game that they just uploaded to Steam without any changes. There’s still a link to zone.com to get to the multiplayer in the menu. Wild. Anyway I played one tutorial where Qui-gon Jinn wouldn’t stop yelling at me to move Chewbacca.
