What I Played Today: August 24

Hey, I’ve been not doing anything, because I was laid off, so I didn’t feel like doing anything but goofing off. I’ll get over it soon, it’s been a week, just didn’t feel particularly excited about doing stuff.

Anyway, I’ve just been playing some upgrade games until they broke on me. There was an update to Orb of Creation, which still rocks, there’s a whole new framework under everything and it’s just crunchy enough to be fun. But I got to a new system and it appears it’s not working correctly. It’s a new build entirely, so I get it, but dang it, I was having fun.

Also played I Am Future until it was clear that the game isn’t finished yet. I’ve upgraded all the tools and got across the bridge to the new area. Now I’m stuck because I got a fortune telling machine and I can’t seem to move him off the landing pad. Curious.

Also just tried a lot of games, because I could. Tried Humankind on Xbox, it’s a 4x game still. Can’t remember any others.
