Each time the world cup comes around, a wave of football-themed games follows. If you’ve ever played an online pool game, you will get how to play this game really fast. In this game, instead of 9 balls you have 1. Instead of a stick you have 5 players. Instead of 6 pockets you have 2 goal gates. Just drag for strength and release, like in any pool game.

It’s really fun. I played many semifinals, but yet never won the cup. If both players are new, when it’s a luck game. But it’s actually a skill game, it means you can get better. It’s not random how the ball goes, it’s geometry. It’s not random how much your player runs, it’s physics.

There is one thing bugging me. I really like playing on the right side of the field, while on the left it feels harder. It has nothing to do with the game itself (I think), it’s just how my brain works. As this is a computer game, there is no reason, why one time you play on the left side and the next on the right. Actually both players could see themselves as playing on the right side, but computer could show as opponent playing on the left, because it’s just number under the hood.
