Mekelle, Tigray (Wegahta) — Mothers demanding the release of their detained sons were beaten and gunfire erupted after security forces carried out what residents described as a forced recruitment operation in the Tigray’s town of Hagereselam, witnesses and residents told Wegahta Facts.
