A new survey came out this summer that confirmed something I’ve known since I traded a rifle for a notebook and then a notebook for a mission: money trouble is quietly wrecking men. Financial stress topped the list of what’s crushing guys right now — more than job loss, more than relationship strain on its own. But here’s the part that should stop you: most men in that same survey said being a “provider” isn’t really about the number in the account. It’s about being someone your people can lean on, full stop. Financially, yes — but also emotionally, spiritually, in the small daily ways nobody puts on a LinkedIn post.
