Hello Friends,
Well, we’re entering campaign season and the Democrats are floundering as always. They always have a really hard time coming up with a slogan that’s racist enough to attract Republicans, but which isn’t so obviously racist that they can’t scream at Progressives for being critical.
Their past hits have included:
“Hey! If you don’t vote for us you’re part of the problem!”
“If you don’t vote for us you get them!”
And, my personal favorite, “STRONGLY WORDED LETTER!”
So, everybody knows our backs are against the wall. We’ve been slow walking our resistance all the way to a complete fascist takeover. Criminals and sex offenders have been sprinkled in political seats throughout the land, and violent criminals have received pardons so they can go door to door attacking women and kids.
It’s Republican America. Good luck!
You wouldn’t think it would be that hard to come up with a campaign strategy that could defeat white supremacists who have no other goal but to protect brutal child rapists… but the Democrats have missed on the slow pitch before (2 out of the last 3 elections actually).
Part of the problem is that they keep listening to James “Go toke on a crack pipe” Carville (yes, he actually said that… to Obama). He and others like him serve no other purpose than to sabotage our chances, but the DNC keeps finding ways to funnel him all the money you donate (through the American Bridge 21st Century PAC).
But this year, I’m going to make it easy for the DNC, so they can take all those shiny consultant fees and send them to me (that applies to all of you who were thinking of donating… don’t give it to them, they’ll waste it). Send it here:
It will be money well spent because I’ve got a campaign slogan that is 100% guaranteed to win, and when I walk you through it you’ll see it makes a HELL of a lot of sense.
Ready?
Here it is!
No income taxes on 100k of income, 200k for couples filing jointly!
Boom!
Just think of how much headache and misery that would save us! Also, do you know how many Americans that would impact?
Take a guess. Put a number in your mind. Do you have one?
Okay, I’ll tell you.
Gee, don’t you think a massive tax break for 80% of all Americans would be a pretty popular platform? Actually, it’s a 100% tax break because even millionaires would get the benefit of not paying taxes on the first 100k! Ha! It’s a win for everybody.
See? You don’t need some fancy consultant who gets 100k of campaign money to come up with great ideas! Just ask me!
A tax break for 80% of Americans. It’s kind of amazing that all those fancy ivy league degrees didn’t think of it. But now that I’ve mentioned it, you can demand that the Democrats make it happen.
#notaxupto100k
I don’t know how it works kids, but make it go viral. Think of a world where you just don’t have to worry about filing income tax! Think about it. Also, this slogan builds on itself.
What’s something that the Republicans always complain about? They’re mad because they say “People don’t want to work!”
Well, what better way to incentivize people to work than to allow them to take more of their money home! I mean, you still can’t survive on minimum wage, but if you didn’t have to pay taxes, you could pay for rent on 3/4ths of the month instead of 1/3. That’s got to make a few landlords happy!
The other thing is that a tax code like this would be a MASSIVE boost to the economy. Think of it! All of a sudden, people would have disposable income! They’d be able to buy things. That means the ridiculous electronics that nobody needs would be flying off the shelves. The stock market would be up! People would finally have money to invest! They could even buy houses!
Plus, with people making more money, we’d save on social safety net programs. So let’s sum up:
80% of the population would love this
Great for the economy
Incentivizes people to work
Helps eliminate safety net programs
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
But of course, no politician would approach this promise with a thirty foot pole. Why? Because they’re all the servants of their billionaire masters who would see a tax increase to offset the tax cut for the working class.
Naturally, they’re not going to say that though. Instead, they’re going to get all stuffy and act like it’s an impossible idea. I’ve seen it already. I posted this idea to social media and immediately the bots came out of the woodwork to sink the idea faster than if I’d proposed solar highways (they hate that idea too).
“Well, you’d have to restructure the whole tax code!”
“Umm… people don’t vote on facts Walter, so nothing you propose is going to work.”
“Are you talking about the 30% national sales tax proposal? That’s a tax hike on the working class buddy.”
These are actual responses I received. When I get absurd responses like that I know it’s because I’m on to something.
Look, if we can get Jimmy Kimmel on the air, we have the power to get the message out there. I would LOVE to see some politician have to answer the proposal of a tax code that included ZERO tax on the first 100k of earnings.
Hey, it’s fair, everybody gets that advantage.
What’s going to happen is that politicians are going to fight hard against this idea. They are going to push and scream and act like it’s impossible. They’re going to try and bully us into thinking we shouldn’t even ask for it.
But ask for it anyway. Keep asking it. Chant it!
“We won’t pay on the first 100K!”
If you happen to sit down with Pete Buttigieg or Jasmine Crockett or Gavin Newsome… haha, Gavin would be all for it from day one. So would Bernie, but Bernie would agree while actually intending to make it happen.
Look, I’m a realist. I know that they aren’t going to follow through on a grand proposal like that. Politicians lie. They always lie. But if they want to get elected, they should at least tell us a lie we want to hear.
The more important thing is to get people talking about it. Shouldn’t we be allowed to keep more of our money? Why not? If somebody gets elected on that promise and fails to deliver, we can bring it up again.
Consider the news cycle, people. They want us to forget things. They’ve been trying to bury the Epstein files this whole year. We haven’t let them. We’re not going to let them. But it doesn’t have to only be the Epstein files. We don’t have to do what they tell us to do. We don’t have to think what they want us to think.
We can ask for the things we want.
You know what I want?
I don’t want to have to pay goddamn income taxes. I don’t want to have to pay them ever again.
I don’t want some single mother making 10k a year to have to give up $1,000. I mean, that’s bullshit. Can’t we let people earn 10k without stealing from them? We already don’t help with child care, we don’t help with healthcare, we don’t help with insurance, we don’t help with housing, we don’t help with education, we don’t help with a goddamned thing.
So what the fuck are we paying taxes for anyway?
Just let people living in poverty not pay taxes. I started at 100k, but I’m flexible. We can negotiate. Make it 50k.
But I’m telling you Democrats, if you want a winning campaign promise, this is it. Tell 80% of the people you’re going to cut their income tax down to zero. That’s a campaign people can get behind. That’s a way to distinguish yourself from the other party.
They give tax cuts to the rich.
You give tax cuts to the poor.
You say that you’re not two wings on the same bird. Well, 2026 is your opportunity to prove it! Let’s lay the groundwork for a win not just in the midterms, but for the next presidency and the next 100 years!
Or, go back to your expensive consultants who deliberately sabotage your campaign because they prefer fascism to progress. It’s up to you.
