I want to take a moment and step away from the devotionals to talk to you directly person to person, no scripture lesson, no sermon. Just me being honest with you about something.
You are why I do this.
Every week I sit down and pour everything I have into these articles not because I’m trying to build a platform or grow a brand, but because I genuinely believe that people need to hear that they are not forgotten, not behind, not too broken, not too far gone. I believe that the Word of God is alive and relevant and meets people exactly where they are in the car on the way to a hard day, in the quiet house after everyone’s gone to bed, in the season that doesn’t have a name yet but hurts anyway.
I want to keep doing this. For you. For the person you’re going to forward this to. For the person who finds this newsletter at exactly the right moment and feels, maybe for the first time in a long time, like someone is speaking directly to what they’re carrying.
But I need your help to keep it going.
Producing Walking with Jesus 3/4 times a week takes real time, real effort, and real resources. Right now the newsletter is free and I want it to stay that way. I never want someone to miss a message they need because they can’t afford a subscription.
But free for readers doesn’t mean free to produce. And if you’ve been reading here for a while if something in these pages has stayed with you, helped you, given you words for something you didn’t have words for I want to invite you to consider becoming a paid supporter.
Not because you have to, but because you want to.
When you upgrade to a paid subscription you are doing something that matters more than you might realize.
You keep the newsletter free for everyone else. Every paid subscriber makes it possible to keep Walking with Jesus accessible to the person who can’t afford to pay the single mom stretching every dollar, the college student, the person in a hard season who needs this more than they need another expense.
You make more content possible. More articles. More depth. More of the honest, real conversations about faith that you’ve told me you can’t find anywhere else.
You say: this matters and I want it to continue. That kind of support the kind that comes from someone who chooses to give because something meant something to them is what sustains this work when it’s hard.
If Walking with Jesus has meant something to you if one article made you feel less alone, if one prayer said something you couldn’t say yourself, if one newsletter found you on a day you really needed it would you consider upgrading your subscription today?
Whatever you can give is meaningful. This is not about the amount. It is about the community of people who believe this work is worth continuing and who are willing to put something behind that belief.
If paid support isn’t possible for you right now, that is completely okay. Keep reading. Keep sharing. That matters too more than you know.
But if you’re in a place where you can, and this newsletter has given you something worth giving back for
I’d be honored to have your support.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading. Thank you for every time you’ve forwarded something to someone who needed it. This community is the reason I show up every week and I don’t take a single one of you for granted.
With gratitude,
Walking with Jesus
