hello from wababaland 👀

hey everyone,

it’s been a minute! since our last winter market, i’ve eased up a bit in the kitchen to make some much-needed improvements to my process and setup, including investing in much sturdier and more space-efficient transport bins following the big cookie dump™ at the last market. i got to try out the improvements at our honey field farm pop-up last weekend, and wow, what a difference it makes to feel less scatterbrained.

i’ve also been hard at work on the next phase of wababaland—finding local, small-batch sources for eggs, dairy, and flour (beyond excited about this), working out a commercial kitchen setup (if you didn’t know, i currently bake everything in my home kitchen!), and of course, dreaming up and testing new product ideas.

i have a bajillion ideas i want to try, and my focus for the rest of the year is to dip my toes into several to learn what feels right and inform what comes next. if you have ideas you think i should add to my list, send me an email back! so much of what people have shared when visiting our table has helped me learn about the community, what’s working, what people are craving, and more.

it’s no exaggeration to say that getting to launch wababaland at the norwich farmer’s market this winter completely changed the trajectory of my year (and probably my life). your support is genuinely a dream come true, and the sense of community you’ve made me feel is a heartening change of pace at a time when connection can feel so fractured.

next up, we’ll be at the norwich summer market on may 31. we’ll also be making regular appearances at the hartland farmer’s market throughout the summer, and planning more pop-ups at honey field farm throughout the summer/fall.

i can’t wait! getting to connect with you all over food and laughter is one of my favorite experiences. see you soon!
