Jake Lang, who was pardoned by President Trump for his violent actions on January 6th, 2021 and who still is a racist provocateur has been working his way across the country committing crimes. The U-Haul renting weirdo has getting arrested and somehow walking away from it. This week he was required to see a judge in Washington DC for his threats earlier this year against Metro PD Officer Jason Bagshaw. After a rally and a march from the White House to the US Capitol in honor of Ashli Babbitt who was shot trying to break into the Capitol building on January 6th, 2021 Jake Lang sought out Metropolitan Police Commander Jason Bagshaw. Once he and several of his allies were with him, the bigot began to deliver threats to the law enforcement official. They included the phrases:

“You and Michael Byrd, tie a freaking anvil to both of your ankles and throw you into the Potomac, both of you… disgusting animals.

Public executions… the only solution for animals like you.

“A Pitbull that needs to be put down.”

“And hung right here in front of the capital on National TV, we would love to see that.”

“Deserve to be put down like a dead dog.”

“Public execution is the only solution for animals like you.”

“Your day will come, and I will be there for it, look left and right when you cross the street motherfucker.”

“We need to do more, drag him out by his ankles and throw him in the Potomac.”

“He will get his.”

Lang pled guilty to his threats against law enforcement. According to Anarc-y princess aka @SatireAP on twitter he pled guilty to Attempted “Threats to do Bodily Harm.” He received a “120 day suspended sentence and one year of probation.”

In a statement to the judge he explained his volatile statements. The makeshift transcript from the Webex closed captioning provided by @SatireAP:

“I was using too colorful of language. I stepped over the line… It was not a joke what he dia. He disconfigured the woman’s face, and she is currently in a federal lawsuit against MPD for this. So anyway, I was kind of in a position to speak out on it, but I let my passions enflare on this issue, and I said some things that I shouldn’t have said, stepped over the line.””

“And then separately from that, also at the Karmelo Anthony trial, which is what I’m on this ankle monitor for, I let my passions, you know, enflare. There was back and forth rather I was kind of being threatened, my life was being threatened multiple times,

so I’m learning now, through the course of the consequences that are reaching me that hyperbole, the drastic statements, the way is it’s causing me more harm than good and causing my cause--which is for some advocacy, freedom of speech, rights, and things--it’s causing more harm than good because it’s putting my life in jeopardy, and it’s enflaring the, you know, the causes of justice against me, and so I have to curtail my language in the future much, much more severely and abide by bond conditions because this other charge I’m facing with a million-dollar bond is no joke.

I’m trying to do the best I can as a man who lives the Constitution and who advocates for freedom of speech without putting myself in jeopardy and without, possibly, you know, the committing the criminal acts again.”

Lang is currently facing multiple charges across the country. In Texas, he has been “released on bond after alleged Karmelo Anthony threat, banned from Texas pending trial.” In Minnesota he is facing a felony charge for defacing an anti-ICE sculpture on the states Capitol steps. In Williamsburg, Virginia on May 13, 2026 he asked officer if they were “ready to lose their live trying to take [his] weapon.” He has not been charged for those threats.
