2026 Request for Paid Subscribers

This is for my paid subscribers, though everyone should be aware of this if you pay for other writings on this platform. It has become clear recently that substack has some built in features for paid subscribers that in the end can really screw over writers on the platform. For that reason I am trying to figure out how to go to all free subscribers. I’ve already paused all new subscriptions, but cannot cancel current subscribers and pause the recurring payments. If I was to do so I incur refunds coming out of my account, and can possibly get charged $15 for each transaction that is cancelled if a customer requests a chargeback. This has been happening to more and more authors here as they wake up to the way this has been set up and attempt to disentangle themselves from this shady web.

If you are a paid subscriber I ask that you cancel the auto renew of your subscription at the next billing cycle if possible. I fully intend to continue writing on here for free. This past month’s writing has been delayed due to major work projects overtaking the last few weeks of 2025, but will be back with astrological insights for 2026 soon!
