With the provisional start list taking shape, modern stars have a unique opportunity to challenge historical marks. However, the distinction between who is merely active and who is actually lining up will dictate who can rewrite the record books this week.
When analyzing the overall titles, the ultimate baseline was established long before the modern WorldTour era. Three riders share the record with three general classification victories apiece.
