You know how Heather Cox Richardson posts a photo when she can’t get to writing a new post? (How she manages daily posts in the first place is beyond me.) I try to stick with a post every other week but I’m behind now and can’t see how I’ll catch up this week. Too much.
So here are two photos, from my last days on Cape Cod over the weekend. Sublime and absurd. I’m back in the city now, sorting and emptying my mother’s apartment as she transitions into an assisted living home after a fall and surgery this summer. I’m sure it will be cathartic to have it done—
