The Vashon Loop · The Vashon Loop

We didn’t plan it this way, but our July issue is heavy on the astrology. Our regular horoscope column from Eric had such a deep treatment of the astrological influences in play, we decided to give it an extra half page.

And Melanie Farmer starts on the front page, covering Mahadasha cycles in Vedic astrology. And there will even be a third astrology voice joining us next month. We are in a very active stretch of astrological events, and—as any astrologer will tell you—what happens down here reflects it.

If you need to strike it rich, Marc tells you about the history of buried treasure on Vashon. If you end up not striking it rich, I was going to tell you how to save money on your next PC. But we had to bump it because we simply ran out of space. So if you have a tight budget and a need for a PC, consider catching us in August before breaking out the plastic.

Jane covers Vashon’s poets laureate, and Bernie has some thoughts on selling one’s home. He’s an old hand in real estate, so you’ll likely learn something new there. Rich shares an update on his work with all those tires you see littering the beach.

There are health updates, more Vashon history, and Sean and John are back. There’s even more, and all you have to do is head out tomorrow and grab a copy at your usual place. Paid subscribers, help yourself to our 300dpi PDF below!
