One of the longest-standing feature requests finally ships. A proper grid overlay, cell selection, and the ability to focus on a single cell at a time.
Combine Values mode
A new mode that lets you merge adjacent values to see how your composition holds together at fewer steps.
Customise the value scale
Choose the direction (white to black or black to white), whether the scale starts at 0 or 1, and whether the value numbers are visible at all.

An in-app purchase for the artists who want the full toolset. The core value study app remains free.
Dark mode
This update gives you the option to use Value Study in dark mode, with the ability to use system preferences or override.
Value Study Live Filter
Live Filter is a mode that applies your chosen value scale to whatever the lens is pointing at, in real time.
