In today’s readings, genealogies become gateways.
Genesis lists the descendants of Noah.
Matthew recounts the generations to Messiah.
Isaiah lifts the veil to show the sevenfold Spirit resting on the Branch.
Revelation shows those seven spirits burning before the throne.

Seven. The number of completion. Of covenant. Of sacred fire.

Day 6 invites us to honor the lineage that leads to the Light — and to ask if our lamps are trimmed and burning.

Torah Reading: Genesis 11–12
The Tower of Babel rises — and falls. Nations scatter. A new promise begins with Abram: “Go… and I will show you.”

Prophets: Isaiah 6
Isaiah beholds the glory of YHWH. The seraphim cry “Holy, Holy, Holy.” The prophet is purified and sent. The call echoes: “Whom shall I send?”

New Covenant: Matthew 6
Yeshua teaches the ways of the Kingdom — secret giving, secret prayer, storing up treasure in heaven. He reminds us: “Seek first His Kingdom and righteousness.”

• What lineage of faith am I continuing?

• Are my lamps trimmed and burning?

• How can I reflect the sevenfold Spirit today?

Holy One,
Let Your sevenfold Spirit rest on me:
Wisdom and Understanding,
Counsel and Might,
Knowledge and the Fear of the LORD,
Delight in Your Presence.

Let me burn bright — not burn out.
Trim my flame. Use my light.
