Day 2 draws us into the continued shaping of creation — where darkness gives way to form, and what was empty begins to fill.

Our God is not chaotic. He orders. He speaks into voids. He forms us, too, from the dust and the deep.

In today’s reading, we watch the Word shape light, sky, sea, and land — but also shape men and nations.

What He forms, He fills. What He calls, He equips.

Let Him form you again today.

Torah Reading: Genesis 3–4
The fall, the curse, and the promise. Adam and Eve hide in shame. Cain rejects the path of righteousness. But even in exile, God still marks and protects.

Prophets: Isaiah 2
A glimpse of the end — when nations will stream to the mountain of the LORD. Swords become plowshares. Pride is brought low, and God alone is exalted.

New Covenant: Matthew 2
The King is born in obscurity. Magi search. Herod schemes. A prophetic flight to Egypt preserves the child destined to save.

• What in my life feels void or without form? Where can I invite God to speak light?

• How has the enemy tried to convince me that I am “too far gone to form”?

• If He is forming something new in me… what is it for?

Creator of all,
You spoke light into the dark and formed the formless.
Speak now into my heart.

Reshape what has grown wild. Breathe Your Spirit into what has grown dry.
Make me ready for the purpose You designed.

Let me walk shaped by truth — not trauma.
