Okay, I just found out the elevated offer on the World of Hyatt Credit Card actually has an end date now, and I dropped what I was doing to get this in front of you. The offer ends at 9 AM EST on Thursday, August 20, 2026, through the link in this post. Other placements around the internet may cut off sooner, so if you’re reading this after the 20th, double check the current offer before you apply!

Here’s what’s on the table right now: up to 75,000 Bonus Points. You’ll earn 45,000 Bonus Points after spending $5,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening, plus up to 30,000 more by earning 2 points per dollar (instead of the usual 1) on up to $15,000 spent in your first 6 months from account opening.

Now, real talk. This isn’t usually a card I’m jumping up and down about for its welcome offer. The standard offer sits around 60,000 points, split into two parts, with spending requirements that are a little much for a beginner. There are plenty of cards out there that’ll hand you a juicier bonus for a lot less effort (I’m looking at you Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card). So if you’re the type who judges a card purely by its sign up bonus, this one has never been the showoff of the group.

But here’s the thing, and I say this as someone married to a man who has kept this card in his wallet for 6 years: if you love Hyatt, this card earns its keep every single year, elevated offer or not. And it comes down to one glorious perk: the annual free night certificate.

Every year on your card anniversary, you get a free night at any Category 1-4 Hyatt property. Those rooms often run $150 to $250 or more a night, so that one little certificate typically covers the $95 annual fee all by itself, sometimes a few times over. We use ours like clockwork every year without having to think about it.

That’s not even the whole story. You get 5 tier qualifying night credits automatically every calendar year just for existing as a cardholder, plus 2 more for every $5,000 you spend, which is a real shortcut if you’re chasing Explorist or Globalist status. (Speaking of Globalist, I wrote a full breakdown of what that status actually looks like in real life, you can find it here if that’s on your radar.) You also get automatic Discoverist status the second you’re approved, no stays required, which means late checkout and preferred rooms right out of the gate. Not bad for a card I just told you not to get overly excited about.

Every so often, Chase mixes things up and offers free night awards as this card’s welcome bonus instead of points, sometimes up to 5 of them at once. So if that’s more your speed you can hold off in hopes that that offer returns, but there’s no guarantee it will. This current 75,000 point offer is as good as it gets as far as points offers go for this card, but it’s not sticking around much longer!

So if the points bonus is what’s got your attention, don’t wait past 9 AM EST on Thursday, August 20. And if you’ve been sitting on this one for a while, consider this your nudge. Just know that even after the offer disappears and the bonus shrinks back down to its usual size, I’d still tell any Hyatt-loving family to keep this card in the wallet for the long haul. The free night certificate alone makes it worth it, offer or no offer.

You can read my full breakdown, benefits list, and how to apply in my World of Hyatt Credit Card review.

Here’s what else is standing out this month:

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ – 200,000 points after $30,000 spend in the first 6 months from account opening. The biggest bonus on this list, and worth it if you’re already planning to lean into premium travel perks.

  • Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card – $1,000 cash back after $8,000 spend in the first 4 months from account opening ($0 annual fee). Earns a flat 1.5% back on everything, and pairs beautifully with a premium Chase card to unlock transfer partners.

  • Ink Business Cash® Credit Card – $1,000 cash back after $8,000 spend in the first 4 months from account opening ($0 annual fee). 5% back at office supply stores and on internet, cable, and phone bills (up to $25,000/year), plus 2% at gas stations and restaurants.

  • The World of Hyatt Credit Card – Up to 75,000 points: 45,000 after $5,000 spend in the first 3 months from account opening, plus up to 30,000 more by earning 2x points (instead of 1x) on up to $15,000 spent in the first 6 months from account opening ($95 annual fee).

  • World of Hyatt Business Credit Card – 70,000 points after $7,000 spend in the first 3 months from account opening ($199 annual fee). A great pick if you’re aiming for Hyatt status this year!

  • Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card – 4 Free Night Awards (each worth up to 50,000 points) after $3,000 spend in the first 3 months from account opening ($95 annual fee).
