This Quiet $1,000 Cash Back Bonus Might Be the Best Deal You Haven’t Heard Of

Everyone I know spent the last two months talking about the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card’s 100,000-point offer. It was everywhere, and honestly, it deserved the hype. But that offer ended on July 30, and while everyone was busy mourning it, there’s a quieter deal that’s been sitting right next to it this whole time, and it’s just as good.

Both the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card and the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card are offering $1,000 cash back (that’s 100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points) after you spend $8,000 in the first four months. Neither card charges an annual fee. Chase quietly rolled this out back in mid-June, so it’s been almost seven weeks now, and it’s still going with no announced end date. I wouldn’t count on that lasting forever, though. The last time Chase ran this exact offer, back in September 2025, it only stuck around for about two months.

$750 $1,000 Cash Back (equivalent to 100,000 Chase Points!)
after spending $8,000 in the first 4 months from account opening

If you make any money on the side — freelancing, selling on Etsy, a small service business — this card is worth a serious look. No annual fee, a simple 1.5x on every purchase, and one of the highest offers we’ve ever seen on this card.

This one is a quiet workhorse for business owners with regular spending on internet, phone bills, or office supplies. No annual fee, and the highest offer I’ve seen on this card. Not glamorous — but the points add up fast.

Learn How To Apply

Here’s the part that trips people up: these are business cards, and I know “business” makes a lot of us picture an LLC, a storefront, employees. That’s not what Chase means. If you’ve ever sold anything on Facebook Marketplace or Etsy, freelanced, or driven for a rideshare app, you have a business in the eyes of the bank. That’s enough to apply.

I watched this play out with a friend of mine today, actually. She recently started her own proofreading and editing business, still new, still building up her client list. She’d never had a business card before in her life. She applied for the Ink Business Unlimited this morning half-expecting to get denied, and she was approved instantly! $1,000 cash back are officially headed her way. No joke, if that’s not proof this is more accessible than it sounds, I don’t know what is.

One more thing worth knowing: that $1,000 is straightforward cash back, no strings attached, and you're welcome to take it exactly as that. But if you also carry a card like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve®, Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ or Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, there’s a bonus option worth considering. Redeem it through Chase Travel℠ instead of cashing out, and that bonus is equivalent to 100,000 points, which you can combine with your other Ultimate Rewards balances and transfer to Chase’s travel partners.

That’s the real sweet spot here! Suddenly a flat $1,000 turns into multiple round-trip flights, a business-class seat to Europe, or a stretch of nights at a Hyatt. We’ve built entire family trips around cash back stretched exactly this way, and I’d take that trade every single time.

Speaking of Hyatt, if you've got points sitting around and Maui on the brain, I just published a full review of our stay at the Hyatt Regency Maui, room details, the pool situation, what it's really like with kids, all of it. Read the Hyatt Regency Maui review to see exactly how far a stash of Hyatt points can take a family trip.

And if you’re worried that applying for these business cards will mess with your ability to get other Chase cards later, it won’t. Getting approved for either Ink card doesn’t count against your Chase 5/24 status, though you do need to be under 5/24 to get approved in the first place.

The Sapphire Preferred got all the attention this summer, and I get why. But nearly two months in, this deal is still sitting here, still worth exactly as much, and still flying under the radar. If you’ve been on the fence, I’d love for you to give it a look before it disappears!

The Ink duo isn’t the only thing worth a look right now. Here’s what else is standing out:

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business – 200,000 points after $30,000 spend in the first 6 months ($795 annual fee). The biggest bonus on this list, and worth it if you’re already planning to lean into premium travel perks.

  • The World of Hyatt Credit Card – Up to 75,000 points: 45,000 after $5,000 spend in the first 3 months, plus up to 30,000 more by earning 2x points (instead of 1x) on up to $15,000 spent in the first 6 months ($95 annual fee).

  • World of Hyatt Business Credit Card – 70,000 points after $7,000 spend in the first 3 months ($199 annual fee). A great pick if you’re aiming for Hyatt status this year!

  • Capital One Spark Cash – $1,000 cash back after $10,000 spend in the first 3 months, plus a limited-time $250 travel credit on that same spend (no annual fee the first year, $95 after).

  • Capital One Spark Cash Plus – $2,000 cash back after $30,000 spend in the first 3 months, plus a limited-time $500 travel credit on that same spend ($150 annual fee, refunded once you spend $150,000 in a year).
