Here's one thing entrepreneurship has taught me so far.
Speed.
Not hype. Not shortcuts.
The speed at which you deliver value.
When I first went full time with Teché Consulting, I was scared, and exhausted.
A decade in clinical settings, juggling full-time work, business courses at Concordia, and building on the side will do that to you.
But what kept me going was one clear mission.
Fix broken clinic systems. Fast.
Almost a year in, that lesson has only deepened, especially through the entrepreneurs I've engaged with on my podcast.
So whats the pattern? Speed serves patients.
→ Mahshid Yassaei (Co-Founder, Tali AI) didn't wait for perfect voice recognition. She shipped an MVP that saves clinicians 2+ minutes per patient visit today.
→ Dr. Noah Crampton (CEO, Mutuo Health Solutions) proved real-time clinical decision support beats theoretical AI promise every time.
→ Dr. Zaahir Moloo & Amaan Rattansi (Co-Founders, Scribeberry) built their AI scribe because they lived the documentation pain. They shipped fast because burnout doesn't wait.
→ Marie Lavoie (CareWay to MEDFAR) scaled human-centered care by removing friction from every patient touchpoint, not adding features.
→ Jolyane Lauzon (Founder, Lauzon Communication) optimized appointment flows, follow-ups, and retention, because empty chairs kill practices.
→ Dr. Sandra Derghazarian (Neurologist turned Coach) teaches clarity under pressure because hesitation costs outcomes.
→ Diana Gomez (Founder, Super Didi Mobile) put healthcare on wheels instead of waiting for the "perfect" clinic setup.
I have some entreprenuers joining the conversation on the pod soon.
→ Shoukri Kattan, CTO behind multiple AI agent deployments, 2x exits
→ Marc Obeid, Lawyer turned entrepreneur building compliance tools.
→ Dr Roupen Odabashian MD, FRCPC, ABIM, Oncologist + AI researcher.
→ Kevin Williams, AI strategist helping clinicians cut through vendor noise.
→ Fern Cowan, Developer and founder of DeepCura AI.
These aren't hype founders.
They're clinicians. Operators. Builders.
And they all move fast because patients can't wait.
So if you're still reading at this point at wondering what I'm rambling about... the point here is this.
Speed matters, but only if it serves people.
The fastest path to impact isn't perfection.
It's solving one real problem for one real clinic, then scaling what works.
If you have one workflow you could fix this week instead of next quarter, I'd be very curious as to what that it.
