Urban Sketchers Toronto · Urban Sketchers Toronto

Part 2 of our collaboration with Cabbagetown BIA, as part of their Around The World Pop-Ups series, provides an awesome opportunity to explore and sketch the newly renovated Allan Garden Conservatory! Our visit will also feature a demo/presentation by our fellow urban sketcher Philip @satori3000.

12pm - Look for the USK Toronto flag. We will meet just outside the main entrance to the Conservatory (i.e., the Palm House) for a quick 10-min meet and greet.

12:10pm - Inside the Palm House, Philip will do an approximately 20-minute demo on capturing people in motion and at rest.

12:30pm - Independent sketching begins, and sketchers are welcome to explore the plant life within the conservatory, also the Farmers’ Market that showcases local goods and the wonderful community spirit of Cabbagetown.

2:30pm - Meet back at the Palm House for our throw-down to share sketches, chat, and take a group photo.

Please do not block pedestrian flow. We are sharing the Conservatory space with the general public.

Tag @usktoronto and @cabbagetown.toronto in your social media posts—they would love to see your sketches!

Where: Allan Gardens Conservatory, 160 Gerrard Street East
When: Saturday July 4, 2026 12-2:30pm
Hosts: Sonya, Elena
