I was born in Israel, I became a peace activist, and now live in Italy. My social media feeds are divided, like the world’s conflicting currents—same world, very different perspectives. It feels like standing between worlds, as we cross a global threshold.
In a time where the scale of the world’s crises appears overwhelming, I return to a simple question: what is actually mine to do? Between what we can do and what we are constantly shown lies a profound gap. Can it be simply caring for family and friends, tending to relationships, and being present to the earth place I inhabit?
This unfolding path is what I call Theatre That Reconnects: a collective practice that invites embodied reflection on our relationship with the living world and with one another. A fragile, creative, and collective dream of making kin and making peace.
I dream that as we pass this global threshold, we will take a new path for humanity.
Abandoning the endless petro-wars and the logic that sustains them. Following the new world as it emerges: listening to the soil, to each other, to the living world.
Reconnection will become for us a conscious, concrete choice, made despite it all.
A living prayer for a connected future and a world of care, justice, and peace.
