For years, the message around AI has been positive:

Use AI and become more productive.

Write emails faster.
Create reports in minutes.
Summarize meetings.
Analyze data.
Build presentations.
Research information.
Draft proposals.
Automate repetitive work.

And yes, all of that is useful.

But there is an uncomfortable question behind it:

What happens when companies realize that the same amount of work can be done by fewer people?

If a team of ten can eventually produce the output of fifteen…

companies will not necessarily use that extra productivity to make everyone’s life easier.

They may use it to reduce costs.

And this is happening at exactly the same time as companies are already restructuring, cutting budgets, consolidating roles and announcing layoffs.

Your job may be safe today.

But relying on one employer and one salary is becoming a bigger risk than many professionals realize.

The danger is not only that AI replaces your job

It may simply reduce the number of people needed to do it.

Your company may combine two roles.

Move activities to another country.

Automate part of your work.

Expect one person to manage what previously required two or three.

Or decide that a smaller team can now deliver the same results.

That is why I think professionals should start asking a different question.

Not:

“How can I use AI to become even more productive for my employer?”

But:

“How can I use AI to create something for myself?”

Because if AI can increase your employer’s productivity…

it can increase your earning power too.

You don’t need to build an AI startup

You don’t need to create the next ChatGPT.

You don’t need to become a developer.

And you don’t need to quit your job.

You may already have the most important thing you need:

expertise somebody else is willing to pay for.

Maybe you know how to:

  • build management reports

  • analyze financial data

  • work with Excel or Power BI

  • manage complex projects

  • improve processes

  • implement software

  • work with SAP

  • manage suppliers

  • analyze data

  • create executive presentations

  • improve marketing campaigns

  • structure operations

  • solve technical problems

You probably don’t think of this knowledge as particularly special.

You use it every week.

But somebody who doesn’t know how to do it may happily pay you to solve the problem for them.

The question is how to package that expertise into something people can actually buy.

This is where AI changes the economics of a one-person business

Traditionally, starting a business meant doing everything yourself or paying other people.

Research.

Marketing.

Copywriting.

Presentations.

Administration.

Proposals.

Project organization.

Customer communication.

Analysis.

Today, AI can support you with many of these activities.

Think of it as a virtual team behind your expertise.

A potential client contacts you.

AI helps you research the company.

It helps prepare your discovery questions.

It summarizes your meeting.

It drafts the proposal.

It helps organize the project.

It supports your analysis.

It structures the report.

It helps create the presentation.

It drafts the follow-up.

You remain the expert.

But you no longer need a team of contractors around you to operate like a small business.

That changes what one person can realistically build.

This is also how I built my own online business

I don’t have a large team.

AI helps me research, develop products, structure materials, organize information and operate activities that would otherwise require far more time or external support.

And this is why I believe professionals should look beyond using AI only at work.

Because there is a strange situation developing.

You may spend the next few years using AI to make your employer more efficient…

while becoming increasingly dependent on an employer that may eventually need fewer people.

I would rather use the same technology to build another source of income that I control.

Not €10,000 next month.

Not passive-income fantasies.

Something much more realistic.

Your first €300.

Then €500.

Then €1,000.

Maybe eventually much more.

But even a relatively small second income changes something important:

your salary is no longer your only financial lifeline.

And if restructuring, layoffs or unemployment ever reach you, you are not starting from zero.

Next week, I will show you how to build it

I am running a new live workshop:

Turn Your Expertise Into a Second Income With AI

We will build the system step by step:

Expertise → Problem → Customer → Offer → Price → AI Workflow → Business Operating System → First Customers

I will show you how to identify expertise you can realistically monetize, turn it into a clear offer people can understand and buy, and use AI as your virtual team to operate a one-person business without immediately hiring freelancers or employees.

You can do this while working full-time.

You can do it between jobs.

You can do it alongside consulting or studying.

And you don’t need to have a revolutionary business idea.

You need a valuable problem you already know how to solve.

Early Bird: €49 instead of €99

The introductory Early Bird price is available until Tuesday, 18 August at midnight.

After that, the price increases to €99.

AI may change the security of your job.

It can also help you become less dependent on it.
