Things have been a little quiet here on the blog, and for the most part, my time has been on other projects. One of those projects (which took up more time than I originally planned) was the formation and launch of my new YouTube channel on TTRPG mechanics and their design.
The channel is called System Matters (pronounced with the intonation of phrases like ‘subject matter’ or ‘personal matters’) and the first video is all about Blades in the Dark’s Devil’s Bargain mechanic; it’s influences and legacy, how other games achieve similar results, and just simply why I love it so much!
