Id say just listen and follow your own body. I ride almost every, usually 1-1.5 hours on week nights and 2-2.5 hours at weekends. I also lift weights 2-3 times a week, do circuit training 2-3 times a week and try to have one night a week where I don’t ride and usually go for a walk instead. I have a ‘rule’ that I try not to use the same uni more than 3 consecutive days and try to use at least 3…
This must have been a limited production time frame. Neither the KH website nor the UDC UK link posted above show dual tabs on the 36" frame. Specifically the UDC UK page above says Pictures show disc brake tab on right leg, this is incorrect, the tab for the disc brake is on the Let leg. I believe you, I’m not questioning it, just curious how long these were in production.
It doesn’t reach the level of Nimbus or KH. But maybe I’m just too pro-Nimbus
I wonder how QuAx became one of the most prominent unicycle brands when they omit such basic yet crucial addons.
The truth of the matter is that those stickers don’t come with QuAx as far as I know. But I should have created my own. They do dress up the uni quite nicely.
That’s not an unambiguous answer, you know…
Wheelou: Have you lost the L/R stickers?
Setonix: oh I had to take the wheel off the frame to put the new tube on, but when putting it together I didn’t remember which was the front and which the back. Have you lost the L/R stickers? IvenBach: Says nothing about unicycles entering . Some road signs are just too tempting…
UniGeezer: previous carbon 36-in rims The Braus/Alchemy carbon rim is 28mm wide as well: When discussing with LightBicycle, I told them this seemed to be the perfect width for our usage. Almost 4 years later, I still agree with myself
That is just silly he must have ridden the furthest of any unicyclist though I don’t remember his full route, Im sure he got all the way around. Guiness is not important. He is one of those peeps that unicyclists look up to. He is a hero in my eyes.
Oh yeah
I’m pretty sure he didn’t cross antipodal points because he was already disqualified due to staying stuck for more than two weeks.
Exactly. Edd Pratt was told he didn’t qualify for the circumnavigation record because he didn’t cross two antipodal points, and stayed in some locations for longer than two weeks.

When will it become available for download? I have an iPhone. I could be your tester
The first version is only stored locally, but I plan to have a server with database.
GWR guidelines are really dumb, and the more I learn about them, the less I find it appealing to get a WR homologated by them. Most of the records they homologate are either dumb, not competed or below the "true " world record (either because they refused homologation or because the “true” WR holder didn’t try to contact them). Some examples of what I said : Records below the “true” record : If we…

That reminds me—I submitted my 100-km record to GWR, and I received this response a few weeks ago: Application disqualified - We’ve looked at your evidence, and we’re sorry to say it didn’t follow some of the guidelines. Unfortunately, this means we can’t award a record this time. For this record title, the guidelines said, The unicycle used in the attempt should be commercially available and…
When he so very carefully mounted the giraffe, it surprised me with how much easy he just took off. I once sat on a 1.5m giraffe. Not very high, but it certainly felt very high. I just chickened out can climbed down without doing any pedalling. Also seeing him just jump down, makes my 50-yr-old knees hurt in my mind. It could be very cool to go for a ride on one though, but if I’d ride it where I…
Finally could upload the video to Youtube of when I first tried out the KS 14D in Thailand. It felt very different from the big S16, so it took some getting used to : Trying out the KS14D The past 2 days, now I’m back, I’ve also taken small rides with the S16 after the 10K normal uni rides.
I haven’t been on here in a couple years. I buy gloves, tires, unicycles, cranks, spacers, but haven’t bought anything from them lately. I’m trying to buy a couple pairs of kris holm gloves. $ 20.53 shipping for less than one pound package. Seems steep. I chat unicycle.com , I explain, they say call the warehouse. I do. Person on the phone says contract is with FedEx and, that’s it . End of…
ok Ill have a look at those next time. thanks
Setonix: I reckon with these kinds of cranks it doesn’t matter so much? It’s the pedals that are the problem; they’ll come unscrewed.
Setonix: he asked if I lost a wheel. Alas, it is impossible to escape the “you’ve lost a wheel” comments
oh I had to take the wheel off the frame to put the new tube on, but when putting it together I didn’t remember which was the front and which the back. I reckon with these kinds of cranks it doesn’t matter so much? The 10kms went fine.

I am still very jetlagged from the Thailand holiday and at 3PM at work I was longing for bed, but today I got a new inner tube for the 24”, as it had a hole at the bottom of the valve. I hadn’t ridden normal uni for a whole month so forced my body to do a 10km ride anyways. Then just as I took this picture a dude on a bike oassed me and instead of saying something positive of the rainbow, he asked…
I’d probably try the washers before making any major changes to the build. If they help keep the spoke seated properly and reduce the extra space, they seem like a pretty simple solution. I’d just make sure the washer is sitting flat and isn’t changing the spoke angle too much. It would be interesting to hear how the build turns out once you’ve finished tensioning the wheel.

take a break
Burrs from drilling, in my opinion. Even the „washer“. I get such washers when turning every now and then [where‘s that wasn‘t me smiley, when you need it?]. Shouldn‘t be too big a deal for you to remove that stuff, right?
There are special tools for this - tap extractors. Not sure if they‘re available in the correct size. Or you could try to mill the tap away with a diamond mill bit and a Dremel. Could end up with a big mess and lots of metal dust, though → wear a mask.
