Pull the lever! For the first time, Yzma from “The Emperor’s New Groove” joins the Oogie Boogie Bash character lineup. You can find her mixing potions at her villainous treat trail in Grizzly Peak. Additional returning villains include Ernesto de la Cruz, Agatha Harkness, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Hades and Judge Doom. Oogie Boogie Bash is a separately ticketed event at Disney California Adventure on select nights, starting Aug. 18 through Oct. 31, 2026. New fall entertainment has made its way to Disney Springs from Aug. 11 to Nov. 9, 2026. Keep an eye out for brand-new Farmhand Drummers, Pumpkin Stilt Walkers and Harvest Skaters as you roam around Town Center. As it gets closer to Halloween, the stilt walkers and drummers will transform into spooky giants and a percussion ensemble of zombies. From seasonal merch to menus, there’s plenty of fall fun to be had at Disney Springs!
Over at Universal Studios Hollywood, Halloween Horror Nights confirms the terrifying return of Art the Clown for the Terror Tram. When Art arrives at the Backlot with his bloody bag of presents, he hijacks the tram for his own holiday celebration. Ice Nine Kills will create new music for the Terror Tram, promising a dark twist on classic Christmas songs. Also announced: Killceañera: Music by SLASH joins the lineup as the final haunted house, and all scare zones have been revealed — Fortnitemares, Hackerz, El Circo de la Muerte, Blood Bog, Murder of Crowz and Shriek of Banshee.
Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift has been in technical rehearsals for a couple of weeks now (we frogs got a chance to ride it!), and Universal Studios Hollywood just announced passholder previews for Aug. 18, 19, 20, 21 and 23, 2026. A reservation is required, and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. As we await an official opening date, here are our tips for riding the new roller coaster!
Don’t forget — this weekend is your last chance to ride Fast & Furious – Supercharged at Universal Studios Florida! The party bus permanently closes Aug. 17, 2026, to make way for a new experience at the San Francisco location. That said, family isn’t going anywhere. Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift is expected to open in 2027, replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.

SeaWorld Orlando is celebrating National Roller Coaster Day with a fun challenge on Aug. 16, 2026. If you can ride all eight roller coasters on Sunday, the first 1,000 participants will receive an “Ultimate Challenge” lanyard and poster, while supplies last. Pass members can also sign up for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Mako to celebrate its 10th anniversary (must sign up in person at the SkyTower Tour Desk on a first-come, first-served basis).
