My entrepreneurial journey as a bootstrapping solopreneur!
October was a 4.66 out of 10-star month. I explain how I measured it below. It was very good at the beginning of the month, but really bad at the end.
At the very end of the article, I mentioned my stories from October.
This journey is a long one. I am a bootstrapping solopreneur.
If you support me on Patreon, I share some details about my products that I don’t share with everyone else.
I was rebranding the second version of my NotionPlus.dev product. I shared the logo, which hasn’t been shared with anyone else yet. You can also read about the details of the landing page and website in my Patreon post titled “NotionPlus.dev Version 2: Unknown Details”
For those who prefer not to support me monthly, you can make a one-time donation at minik.link/donate.
For those thinking bigger, I’m selling some of my products through UK/ExitLabs. You can purchase them there.
After a long time, I met up with my elementary school friend. And the days that followed were always productive. My conclusion is this: healthy relationships = productivity.
I started gaining momentum for the second version of NotionPlus.dev (which is also being rebranded). My momentum still doesn’t satisfy me, but I’ve made progress nonetheless.
I’ve started writing a book. The title is “First 10 Customers”. I’m researching and writing about how dozens of startups found their first 10 customers.
There’s a special $2.50 price for the first 10 people. The book isn’t finished yet. However, after the first 10 people buy it, the price will increase by $0.25 for each subsequent sale.
I’ve even sold one copy already. As I said, the book isn’t finished yet. But it will be!
My NotionPlus product has been used over a million times. It generated $3,000.
Before that, my partner and I built a site called CreateTargetAudience. It also generated thousands of dollars in MRR.
I’ve developed hundreds of products. If you’d like to benefit from my experience, you can hire me for consulting.
Nothing new. I’m working on version 2 of NotionPlus.dev.
You know I’ve sold some of my ventures. I’m reinvesting the money I’ve earned back into products. And there’s one more thing, but I’ll tell you about that in the story at the bottom.
See UK Exit Labs.
If you would like to purchase any of my products, please email me at exit@ugurkilci.com. We can discuss it.

Last month, I developed a tool to visualize my emotions (for myself). According to it, I had captured happiness at the beginning of last month. But then I suddenly encountered a problem.
You see the greens. There is one yellow area before the greens end. That’s where I turned down the job offer I received. The next day was green. I had hope again. But...
At the end of the greens... Someone anonymous did something that shook my confidence and made me question myself as a human being. Of course, I won’t say what it was. From that point on, I officially fell into depression. 😰
I felt terrible. I couldn’t even find the energy to move my fingers, let alone open my eyelids.
Despite everything, I didn’t choose the worst option in the tool.
After my trust was shaken, since I didn’t know who did it, I burned my boats. 🚢🔥 I fired/kicked my Instagram followers. Yes, I really fired them. I told them to unfollow me. Then I made my account private and finally froze it.
I’m glad I did that. Towards the end of this month, I started to mentally return to my old self. Because... Deadline! I have to finish the 2nd version of NotionPlus.dev this month!
I’m still not at the pace I want to be at. Still, I’m continuing to try! 💪
What I’ve been through is like a valley of death. Like the tip of a hockey stick graph. Or like collapsing inward after an explosion and then exploding even more.
Have you ever heard the saying, “Business is a wolf’s feast”? If a pack of wolves is most starving, they kill and eat the weakest wolf in the pack to ensure the survival of the pack. Proof. That’s why they say business is a wolf’s feast.
I am not a weak wolf.
Thank you for being by my side throughout this process. You can share your thoughts in the comments or send them to me privately at hi@ugurkilci.com.
With that, I hope everything goes as planned this month. See you next month! 🙋♂️
