Christlikeness is measured by love and love is choosing the good of others above your own. True love is always costly because that’s what Jesus showed us on the cross, and He calls us to do the same.
For Jesus, justice isn’t optional - it’s a key characteristic of who He is. Put most simply, for Jesus and for us, justice is about making things right.
We often focus on what other people think of us, looking to the left or to the right for approval. But what other people think of us is not what matters; what the Father thinks of us is what matters.
King Jesus lived a life of power and authority, but it came through dependence on the Father, the Holy Spirit, and the very people he came to save. If we want to become more like Christ, it doesn’t come through independence like we often think. To be like Christ, we must learn to depend on God and the community around us.
Forgiveness can be a challenging thing, yet it is something that the Lord asks of everyone who follows Him. In this message, we will talk about the practicals of forgiveness, and how as we realize how the Father has forgiven us, it makes it possible—with His help—to forgive both the big and the small.
