Here I will share a word, one that may have fallen out of vernacular or is just unusual. I’ll give you the definition and then share a story I wrote using the word in 100 words.

It can be a single sentence, a 100-word drabble, or a longer story. Or if writing isn’t your jam and you’re inspired another way, go nuts. Stretch your creative muscles and show me what you’ve got!

But first…

1: A heavy downpour that comes out of nowhere and soaks you in seconds

All my life, I had heard the saying, “If you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes.”

Honestly, it annoyed the crap out of me. The weather wasn’t that unpredictable. And everyone claimed their state was the only one the saying applied to.

I decided to do something about it. Anytime I heard that phrase uttered, I cast a spell and unleashed a thunderplump on the person. Soaked them to the bone and made them regret their words. You may think it petty of me. And it is. You don’t like it? Well, I have a spell for that, too.
