What is a Woman? Don’t ask the WNBA

I would have never guessed that Royce White and Enes “Freedom” Kanter would become political lightning rods in 2026. Didn’t have that on my bingo card. OK, Kanter, maybe. He’s been a little bit of a loose cannon at times. A little bit of comedic relief. He’s feuded with the Turkish President, had his family disown him because of it, and has feuded with both Nike and China over their treatment of the Uyghur population. But, this is a little different. Clever as well as entertaining. Kanter is also taking the more serious debate approach while White is taking the approach of making a general farce of the WNBA position. Both are entertaining.

Kanter and White both know there are biological men playing professionally in the WNBA, including one big dude who has called Caitlin Clark a ‘f’in white girl’ during a game. We all know who that is.

White is having a little fun with it by turning the rhetoric around against the left (see below).

I commend both for working to protect all of our daughters and granddaughters and their ability to pursue their passions on an even playing field.

Martina Navratilova is a pioneer for women’s sports. She busted it to get greater equality in both tennis and sports in general. She’s termed the WNBA’s reaction as ‘bad-faith efforts’ following the Freedom and Royce show. Martina is also gay and supports trans rights but, she is openly against trans participation in women’s sports because she acknowledges the physiological differences between men and women. This is telling. The left has demonized her for it but, they also ascribe to the Fauci version of science. Enough there.

Women fought for Title IX protection in the 1960’s and early 1970’s until President Richard Nixon signed it into law in 1972.

It’s unfathomable that the lefty Liberals have no problem dismantling Title IX protections. OK, maybe it was unfathomable a decade ago. Today it is another illustration that the Democratic Party has become captive of an extremely far-left portion of society that identifies as transgender (less than 1% of the U.S. population).
