This Iranian woman publicly lighting a picture of the Supreme Leader of Iran and letting it be recorded and posted publicly. Her act of defiance will put a bounty on her head. Burning a picture of the Supreme Leader is a significant crime in itself but, women have also been prohibited from smoking for years and this is another considerable crime.

The U.S. media have largely ignored the rioting in Iran and instead focused on a woman killed while trying to run over a Federal agent executing his duties.

Hundreds have been killed and thousands arrested in Iran as the despotic Khonmeini and his Islamic Republic government. Being critical of a despotic Islamic Republic government that persecutes their citizens isn’t real good timing for a U.S. media that’s been running cover for a Muslim contingent that appears set on overtaking America. We can’t hate our media enough.

For the brave Iranians putting their lives on the line to experience their freedom, they deserve our thoughts and prayers. We can’t support them enough.

And, we need to learn the lessons of what submitting to a despotic Islamic Republic means: total loss of freedom and liberty.
