Hi everyone! Lisa here 🤍 Hope you’re doing well! It’s time for another weekly roundup of everything that caught my eye last week, the places I tried, the things I loved, and a few recommendations I couldn’t wait to share with you.

Remember the With Jean dress I talked about in my last post? Well… it was 100% worth every penny haha. I am obsessed with it.

It’s honestly the perfect summer piece because you can completely change the vibe depending on how you style it. For the day, I love it with simple sandals for a more casual look, but you could easily dress it up with heels for a night out.

Small warning though: if you’re not into a deep neckline, this one might not be for you haha.

Let me tell you something: sometimes the outfits where you feel the most confident are actually the easiest formulas.

I had drinks with a friend and I didn’t really know what to wear, so I went for my “I want to feel hot but I don’t want to overthink it” outfit formula and I loved it.

The formula:

  • a bustier (this one is actually comfortable, which is rare!) shop here

  • a black mini skirt (so many people thought it was a dress) shop here

  • heels (I could have gone all black, but I wanted a little summer touch so I added my blue heels)

  • a black clutch (saint laurent)

  • lots of body shimmering oil ✨

And voilà. Sometimes you really don’t need much.

I randomly came across this Spanish brand on Instagram and I immediately fell in love with their summer pieces.

First of all, finally a brand where everything isn’t €500 haha. They have really cute dresses, tops, and accessories. Also, don’t skip their jewelry section, there are so many fun pieces.

I picked a few things I have my eye on and thought I would share them with you because I think they’re perfect for summer.

If you live in Paris and you’re looking for a fun Sunday activity, I highly recommend spending an afternoon at Les Puces de Saint-Ouen.

It’s probably Paris most famous flea market and there is such a mix of things. My favorite part is definitely the design and luxury furniture section. Honestly… so many stunning pieces that instantly make you want to redecorate your entire apartment.

It’s also such a good place to get inspiration if you’re furnishing a home: the colors, shapes, and different setups are amazing. Karen actually found gorgeous chairs there, negotiated the price, and got such a good deal!

The only thing I wish they had more of is vintage clothing. I personally find that section a little disappointing, so I wouldn’t go there specifically for clothes (you’ll probably find better pieces on second-hand platforms).

If you live in Paris or have visited, you’ve probably heard of Le Relais de l’Entrecôte.

What makes it so iconic? There is only one menu:

  • a starter: green salad with walnuts

  • entrecôte and fries (served twice!)

The only downside is the queue. Especially the Rue Marbeuf location… I have already waited almost two hours there before.

But let me give you a little tip (I might regret sharing this haha): they recently opened a new location in the 1st arrondissement. It’s bigger, has more seating, still has that classic French bistro feeling, and because it’s newer, the wait is currently much better.

So definitely give it a try!

For my best friend’s birthday, I took her to a restaurant I love but hadn’t been to in a while: Loulou. In my opinion, this restaurant is really at its best during summer when you can sit outside in the garden with the Eiffel Tower view and watch the Olympic balloon floating in the sky around 10:30pm.

It’s such a pretty setting, perfect for a girls’ dinner, a family dinner, or a date night.

Little tip: when you’re standing with the restaurant behind you, ask for a table on the right side of the garden. It’s the side closest to the Eiffel Tower view.

I highly recommend watching the Rafa documentary on Netflix. It follows Rafael Nadal’s tennis career, his success, but also all the challenges and obstacles he faced along the way.

I love watching biographies about people with extraordinary lives. There’s something so fascinating about seeing what happens behind the scenes.

Even if you’re not a tennis fan, you probably know who Nadal is, but I had no idea how many difficulties he had to overcome to become one of the greatest players ever.

What I loved most is the reminder that success can look effortless from the outside, but behind every achievement there is so much hard work, discipline, and sacrifice.

I found it really motivational and such a good reminder that nobody becomes the best without pushing themselves.

It’s a mini-series too, so it’s an easy and quick watch :)

Okay, I hesitated before sharing this because you’re probably going to think I live under a rock haha.

I feel like if you’re a YouTube girlie, you have probably been watching Paige Lorenze’s channel for years… but I just discovered it and I am obsessed.

She shares her daily life, travels, and her life around tennis tournaments. And honestly? My favorite videos are actually her home vlogs.

There is something so satisfying about discovering a YouTube channel and then binge-watching every single video. It’s one of my favorite feelings.

I finally reached for a sheet mask that had been sitting in my beauty drawer for months. I bought it a while ago but never used it because, honestly, I always feel like those 10-minute sheet masks don’t really do much.

Well… I was wrong.

After using this one, my skin was SO glowy. Like that fresh, hydrated skin feeling that makes you want to immediately buy five more. I need to stock up on it ASAP. I usually buy it from Korean cosmetic stores here in Paris.

That’s it for this week’s finds 🤍 Let me know if you try any of these, I always love hearing your recommendations too!

Bisous, Bisous

Lisa
