One of America’s largest produce suppliers visited the White House days before the administration walked back a warning suggesting the company’s lettuce could be linked to an outbreak of explosive diarrhea.

Taylor farm CEO and his family are billionaires for the worst reason, no surprise they’d visit (bribe) Trump.

Taylor Farms “success” is due to decades long labor exploitation by using a “permatemp” model to cut costs, keeping workers trapped in third party staffing agencies to deny them healthcare, overtime, suppress wages, and bypass workers’ comp protections.

Then there’s the wage theft, lack of safety training, abuse of vulnerable migrant workers from management threatening to send in ICE to crush efforts to unionize. Taylor co has farms located all over the U.S. and Mexico.. few outsiders see how the company actually runs things.
