Hello! Only time for one main story this week, but we’re trying to draw together some different threads over the past few weeks, months and years which have culminated in the violent unrest this week following revelations about a racially-charged murder and how the police handled it. Religion is increasingly unavoidable in our political arguments about national identity and migration, but is the church ready to play its part?

Then there’s our latest podcast (picking up on a recent episode about what Christian IVF might look like and discussing the ethics of recent breakthroughs in fertility treatment), and the usual list of interesting church news stories from around the web (a satanic bus route in Poland, a baroque Pentecostal pharma scam, and could you only eat foods mentioned in the Bible?).
