Every campaign in the country is sending you “urgent messages” about “must-meet deadlines”.
And I know my campaign has been asking a lot of you lately, too. But I need you to know that I don’t take your support lightly, and I try to only reach out when there’s something real to tell you.
For the first time, Maine voters are starting to see our people-first message on their screens.
It’s cool to watch. People who’ve never met me are hearing, for the first time, why a logger from Allagash decided to run for the United States Senate, and what I’ll do when I get there.
But ads don’t stay on the air for free. And keeping them there is one of the best ways to reach voters who are still deciding. In a race like ours that will be decided by small margins, that means everything.
Susan has $10 million behind her. Some estimates say Donald Trump’s billionaire allies could pour as much as $200 million into Maine to protect her. They hate the idea of a working-class guy being in Washington that much.
I’ve spent twenty years in the Maine legislature fighting for working people, and Susan Collins has spent that same time saying she’s “concerned,” only to roll over for Trump when it matters most.
She knows this race is damn close. That’s exactly why her MAGA allies are already pouring in money and running attack ads to defeat us.
We don’t need MAGA billionaires. All we need is just one person at a time chipping in or stepping up because they believe in what we’re building. It’s how a fifth-generation logger with no personal fortune or family money to pour into my campaign ends up with a real shot at flipping this seat.
And there’s no real path to a Democratic Senate majority that doesn’t run through this state.
