So wild that satire basically walked up to my door, kicked it open, and said, “Tag me in, coach.” And Donald Trump — love him, hate him, or sit in that chaotic middle lane of mild indifference — is undeniably one of the most larger-than-life figures in modern history.

We’re watching real “firsts” unfold in real time: a president impeached in his first term, re-elected anyway, and now shaping a second term under a spotlight that never turns off.

So instead of dodging the circus, we leaned straight into it with DONALD’S DEFENDERS — something very different from anything we’ve ever created before, and the very first title launching under our new Irreverent Humor Publications (IHP!) imprint.

It’s loud, bold, chaotic, satirical, and brings in that classic Reagan’s Raiders vibe: politics treated like an 80s action comic, because honestly… that’s exactly how it behaves most days.

It’s about acknowledging that the whole system has gotten so absurd, parody might actually be the most honest language left. And with an imprint literally built for comedy, we wanted to kick things off with something that embraces over-the-top humor in the spirit of Family Guy, South Park, and even the classic absurdity of Mad Magazine — that timeless, gleefully chaotic, nothing-is-sacred approach to satire.

Regardless of how you lean politically, this book is about humor — that’s the whole point, and it’s in our name for a reason.
