New in Triptico: Library and Easier Sharing

I have had a busy few weeks of coding and am pleased to announce some huge new additions to the new Triptico website.

The biggest addition is something I have wanted to build for a long time: a place to discover classroom-ready resources, coupled with a much easier way to share your own saved files with colleagues.

Open your dashboard and use the new Viewing menu beside the search bar.

Select Triptico Library to explore a growing collection of classroom-ready files.

You can:

• Open any file and use it immediately with any activity.

• Select Add to My Files to save a copy to your account.

• Adapt any files that you save to match the needs of your own students.

I will try to set aside some time next week to create new activities to add to the library.

If there is anything in particular that you would like me to create then please let me know.

You now have the option to give selected colleagues access to some of your saved files.

Open Colleagues, turn on colleague browsing and add their email addresses.

Files marked Visible will be accessible from their Triptico dashboard.

Files marked Hidden will not.

This feature makes sharing across schools or departments so much easier - whilst ensuring that each user retains complete control over their files.

Your colleagues can open or copy activities that you have marked as visible, but they cannot edit your original files.

Note: This is separate from student sharing. Any share codes you have created for students will continue to work exactly as before. Students do not need an account to access activities that you share with them.

I have made lots of other improvements to the new website, many in direct response to feedback from teachers. For example:

• AI in the correct language: generated content now follows the language of your topic rather than defaulting to English.

• QR codes for student access: students can now scan a code to open an activity you have shared with them.

  

• Space Race music: background music to add to the tension (of course, you can switch it off if you prefer) - give it a listen now and let me know what you think!

• A clearer Knockout introduction: the rules are explained before the activity begins.

• Faster loading: all images across the site have been optimised.

• A completely redesigned Triptico home page (feedback appreciated!)
