We're early
so we're the prospectors
roaming through a world of unfinished
business, trying to find
pearls for swine.

When you are early in an area of new trends or new technology, you will find yourself in a world where much doesn’t work too smoothly, and some of the things you love and get used to will vanish. The world of Web3 is, despite earlier hype cycles, currently in such a state. And I love being there. Feels a bit like roaming into the Wild West, establishing new lands. But this time, we treat the people much better. At least, many of us do.

Do you like to venture into new lands, or prefer more familiar and polished surroundings?

Jason McBride wrote and illustrated A Love Letter to Where I Live, a spectacular poem about loving where you are (and if you are like me, that does not have to be always the same place, but it can be), and then becoming one with the ocean. I love this poem, I hope you enjoy it:
