Even the Levites' service before the Lord must be mediated. God is holy, and yet He has condescended to us by His grace.

God gives good gifts to His people - over and over again - He gives life to His people.

God's entourage is also a mobile kingdom. God arranges His people because He cherishes them.

God numbers and arranges His people around the tent of meeting - yes, so they can serve and worship the Lord, but also so that He may bless them.

We begin our new study in the Book of Numbers with an introduction to the book from chapter 1, verse 1. The Book of Numbers, of course, isn't just about numbers, it is about God in the presence of His people as they journey from Sinai to the promised land.

We look at the great commission in Matthew and the call to make disciples.

We compare the felt and lived out responses of the women and the guards that were both at the tomb the morning of the resurrection.

The death and burial of the Lord Jesus.

We follow Jesus from the Roman Governor to his headquarters with the soldiers to Golgotha. While what's taking place may seem tragic, it is all according to the perfect plan and purpose of God.
