The Commodore 64 intro Orbit Untold by Fairlight from 2023 (youtube link) features a border scroll that looks unexpanded, despite being placed in the lower border and despite covering the entire visible screen area. This document explains how this effect is achieved with a technique we call multicolor ghostbyte shine-through.
