I’ve been thinking about the disparity in overall talent between left and right tackle for a few seasons, and the recently published NFL1000 project on Bleacher Report helped add clarity to that observation.
Prior to the NFL1000 project, my annual Top 75 rankings for this newsletter are what drove that realization for me, along with the contract disparity between the two sides. I decided to dig into my rankings and contract data to help illustrate this point.
