As April winds to a close, I thought I would circle back with recordings of genealogy talks I recently gave at the University of Idaho and on the Nurturing Our Roots show.

On April 12, I gave a talk as part of the University of Idaho’s Black Lives Matter Speaker Series. I shared some of my adoptee journey, and talked about the challenges that come when your lineage includes enslaved people. I also share genealogy and DNA travel resources.
On April 18, I joined Dr. Harrell, a well known historian, genealogist and activist, on her weekly live show Nurturing Our Roots, which focuses on Black genealogy. I shared my adoptee story, and upcoming genealogy and heritage travel plans.
