Trump Hasn't Been Impeached Because...

Hear me out. JD Vance poses a way more dangerous threat to America and the world than Trump.

Sure, Trump was dubbed Krasnov by Russians and he likely works as a dementia riddled double agent, and his loyalties lie to his own bank account and any dictator or individual that massages his ego, threatens him or pays him. Sure he’s a sell out and a danger to society. But he doesn’t hide that fact.

No one has watched Trump speak the past decade and thought, “What an upstanding, morally solid citizen.” No, Republicans liked him because although he was crass, disgusting and honest. And honestly, between all the lies, there are glimmers of truth.

He publicly asked Russia to help him win in 2016. He thanked Elon for rigging the election right before he was sworn in last January. He hasn’t backed down from everything he’s been accused of with the sole exception of the Trumpstein files. Because whatever is in that, he knows even he is ashamed of.

But we all know who we’re getting with Trump. We know he’s aging rapidly. We know he’s sick despite the lies. We know he is aligned with an adversarial nation. We know all that.

But Vance…

All we know about JV Dance is that he’s a complete shape shifter. After growing up in city suburbs and graduating from Yale, he wrote a book about how he was somehow a hillbilly. He’s somehow relatable to deep in heart rednecks just because he said he was a redneck. As someone who actually grew up in the Deep South, I can tell you that no one with that much eyeliner has ever set foot in a deer stand. I can tell you that even if you call it guyliner, it is not socially acceptable in the south for everyday wear.

His Hillbilly book was written (coincidentally?) in 2016 at a time when Republican politicians doubled down on winning the “uneducated” voters. Politicians have always spoken to “working class” voters but never in such a direct way as 2016.

His name changed several times, and also his identity. He was a never Trump guy, and he called him self “post-liberal” at one point. According to The Guardian, Vance’s high school friend Travis Rigas changed his last name and then after that Vance reached out to ask how to do it and then changed his name.

Vance has never appeared to be a leader, but a follower. So the questions swirl around - who is leading him? Who is he following? Where do his loyalties lie?

Peter Thiel has been called JD Vance’s mentor and financial backer. Thiel donated roughly $15 million to a pro-Vance super PAC in 2022, helped secure crucial endorsements, and mentored Vance after his time at Yale Law School and in Silicon Valley venture capital. Politico reported that JD Vance met Thiel when he spoke at Yale in 2011. Thiel's $15 million in 2022 was the largest amount ever donated to a single Senate candidate, helping Vance win the Ohio primary. A record breaking amount of money. Peter Thiel backed JD Vance’s firm Narya Capital, which invested in Acre Trader to buy/sell US farmland, specifically bankrupted farms. An article on Medium, breaks this down, but the highlights are: Trump/Vance eliminated USAID and imposed tariffs that bankrupted many farms, then gave $20 billion to Argentina, who got many of the China contracts for soybeans instead of US farmers. Within a month of taking office the Trump/Vance administration froze $2 billion in payments to farmers disrupting 30,000 farms. Many farms get loans at the beginning of growing season to buy seeds and equipment for growing season, then pay it back after crops are harvested. Allegedly US farmers lost $44 Billion as costs rise and markets shrink.

Prior to 2024, JD Vance was relatively unknown on a national stage. When I first heard his name from a conservative family member that he was Trump’s running mate, my response was, “Who?”

Peter Thiel is a controversial figure, not just because he has an obscene amount of wealth and ties to Elon Musk, but most notably disturbing his interview with New York Times that was published in June 2025, where he wasn’t sure if the human race should continue to exist.

One article about Peter Thiel describes 2016 as The Year Silicon Valley Went Morally Bankrupt. And it’s a dark peek into the backstory of Thiel, who previous victim-shamed Rape victims. The Nation highlighted Thiel in an article titled The Billionaires Are Abandoning Humanity.

And while Democrats and Republican leaders alike hate Trump, they have figured out how to bribe him or flatter him to bend his will. Trump does chicken out. Not always, but often. Trump is weak to strong people, and strong to weak people. Trump is a diabolical narcissist, but he’s also obviously suffering major health problems that are undeniable no matter how many times Caroline Leavitt claims he’s a victim of rowdy handshaking sessions.

Trump is an obvious danger to Minnesota, Maine, Iceland, Greenland, the entire EU, the entire US, and the entire world order. The worst case scenario is the US becomes an island run by a dictator, or gets sold to Russia, or China. But the worst case scenario with a JD Vance presidency is human extinction.

And that is the reason that Trump has not yet been impeached. Because the second in line for the presidency could be a way more destabilizing figure than the current one.
