A print magazine dedicated to narrative longform storytelling about female, trans, and nonbinary athletes is assigning stories for its January 2027 issue and wants pitches from experienced journalists who can report and write multi-source features with minimal editing. Features run 1,000 to 3,000 words at $0.50 to $1 per word depending on scope and experience — that’s up to $3,000 per piece. Deadline is August 16, tomorrow.
