How To Trade This

Oatly Group AB (OTLY) is the Swedish company behind the oat drink you have probably seen at your local coffee shop. It turns oats into milk alternatives, plus yogurt, ice cream, cooking creams and spreads, giving anyone who skips dairy an everyday option that still tastes good.

Growth is coming from a few clear places. European demand keeps accelerating, led by the barista style product that cafes pour into lattes every day. North America has finally turned, helped by a shift toward grocery shelves rather than lower margin channels. Cost discipline is showing up in the results too.

Coffee culture is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here. Cafe traffic has stayed sticky even as shoppers trade down elsewhere, and plant based drinks have shifted from novelty to pantry staple. Energy and freight inflation tied to Middle East conflict still bites, though supply chain gains offset some of it.

On the chart, a confirmation bar has printed with volume rising above its recent average, and price has pushed into the momentum zone. That combination suggests buyers are stepping in with conviction rather than drifting higher on thin trade. It is the kind of setup traders watch for continuation.

A trailing stop follows price higher and locks in gains while capping the damage if the trend breaks. You can set one using Fibonacci retracement levels, parking the stop under a level that has held, and the Fibonacci snap tool makes drawing those levels fast.
