How To Trade This

Bloomin' Brands, Inc. (BLMN) runs some of the best known casual dining names in America. The company owns Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, serving steaks, seafood, and Italian plates in more than a dozen countries.

The turnaround at Outback is the story here. Management simplified menus, upgraded steak quality, rolled out new grills, and began refreshing dining rooms. Guest satisfaction scores keep climbing, average checks are rising, and every major brand posted positive comparable sales last quarter.

Casual dining sits at the sharp end of consumer spending. Beef costs are running hot, wage inflation persists, and tariffs add another layer of uncertainty to the food supply. Diners are trading down, so value bundles and experiential offers matter more than ever in a shrinking share of wallet.

On the chart, a confirmation bar printed on sharply higher volume and pushed price into the momentum zone. That combination matters because heavy volume behind a strong close tells you real buyers are stepping in rather than light drift. It suggests the move carries genuine conviction.

A trailing stop follows price higher and locks in gains while capping downside if the trend breaks. You can set one using Fibonacci retracement levels, which mark where pullbacks often find support, and apply them fast with the Fibonacci snap tool.
