All about Flower Essences: Archangel Gabriel

Archangel Gabriel has been with me for as long as I can remember, serving as my primary angelic “point of contact” with the higher realms and often acting as my own, personal guardian angel, guiding my psychic, spiritual and shamanic work.

What he lacks in bedside manner (he is the least humanlike, soft or emotionally intelligent of the angels with whom I’ve worked!) he more than makes up for with exceptional loyalty, incredibly accurate psychic data, and impeccable guidance around large spiritual projects (like creating a deck or writing a Woo-based book) and spiritual discernment.

While I’ve had several wonderful human teachers and mentors in the Woo world, I think it’s safe to say that my #1 professor of all things psychic is actually Archangel Gabriel. He’s been beside my side during this whole, strange shamanic journey, working with me as a child to navigate what would have otherwise been overwhelming psychic experiences, as an adolescent diving into reading tarot and digging into studying Kabbalah and then, since my early 20’s, supporting my shamanic studies and client-facing work as I launched and now maintain my shamanic practice, TOTEM Readings.

Archangel Gabriel’s name translates to, “God is my strength”, and he is the angel that told Mary she would give birth to Jesus as well as the angel that transmitted the contents of the Koran to Muhammad. He is also the angel that blows THE trumpet, ushering in the final judgement in the Bible’s Book of Revelation.

His celestial job is to announce, transmit, and cross-share vital cosmic information, serving as the ultimate angelic messenger, which is why he’s so closely linked with prophets, psychics, saints, and other assorted Woo weirdos of the highest order. In my experience, Gabriel’s energy comes with big emanations of a violet cobalt light— the color associated with the third eye chakra and psychic visions.
