OCR'd versions of the text, which is hard enough to read on the original photocopies in places. Some of the "When the MOS Won't Do" pages, 150+ and esp. 157 are missing their right-hand edges (and last few characters). I've filled in as best I can. Modern racks are somewhat deeper in the rail than the ones originally used for Acorn Eurocards Keep in mind that equipment racks have been available in many different sizes and styles from various companies for many years. Acorn used one type/size from one range. Compare two scrapped surplus cards (from some 1980s scrapped equipment) to the Acorn VIB card I showed earlier. First, a card that is…

And is it the case that ANFS doesn't use this additional service call, even in \*HELP ON? In Robert's disassembly of ANFS 4.25 it only shows the usual service call 9 being used for help, although I couldn't find where it processes \*HELP ON. Pretty cool! Have you tried the included converter by Mike from the download-package? This takes some time to find the best colour combinations, but the results speak for themselves I think. Not sure how this could be included in your browser tool, since it's just a compiled Windows executable. I don't have any source code to see what is doing, but I've given the user lots of sliders and a live…

My son's acquired a Mac II Si with Sony PSU. True to form, all the caps on this PSU had leaked horrifically. So I removed them, cleaned the board with IPA, and replaced them. The schematics are here (PSU is last page): https://www.applefritter.com/files/Maci ... arc%29.pdf To my immense surprise, it worked first time! Then a couple of days later, it's stopped. I've just been reading this account of a very similar repair and noticed that he tried reflowing the solder on the dodgy chip first of all. So was that a much simpler possibility I could have tried? I note his fault seems to be an inverted bit rather than a stuck bit though, so maybe that indicates some significant difference in this case. https://www.paulerrington.co.uk/blog/20 ... ation.html…

I've just release a new project: https://github.com/markmoxon/delta-14b-tester It's a very simple Delta 14B joystick tester, for use with the Delta 14B joystick and the 14B/1 adaptor. At the moment it only test the keypad, but I'll be adding stick readings soon so you can use it to test the whole stick. It is a lot more useful for testing than the Voltmace utilities, as it shows a constant stream…
