Dragon Rampant Campaign - The Valley of Jeff - Game Seven

As with the previous game, time and real life have taken their toll on my memory, so this film will have to do for summary. And here are some pictures Seven great fun games with a splendid opponent. Dragon Rampant is fun, fast and easy to understand with enough grit and chance to make it interesting and the campaign gave enough structure without any heavy book-keeping - just what us Gamers Of A…

Random WotR pics

From another game waaaay back in April. More Lion Rampant Wars of the Roses I *think* this was a three-player with Alessandro (shortly before he departed back to Tilea) and General B.

Dragon Rampant Campaign - The Valley of Jeff - Game Six

This game was played back in May! Fortunately there's a video so I don't have to try and remember what happened! I took a few pictures too A great fun game that means we go to the last one of the campaign with either of us still able to snatch a win!

Zombies for Warmaster

I *was* hoping to debut an all new Vampire Counts army at Summer Sizzler next weekend, but that plan has been derailed... Anyway I got some more Zombies done Lovely Forest Dragon sculpts painted this way:

Battle of Grizzly Peak at Joy of Six

Still catching up on things. Matt arranged for us to attend Joy of Six again with our (well, mainly his TBF) Glorantha collection. Having fought outside Pavis last time we needed a new location and battle. A little searching suggested Grizzly Peak would make a decent encounter, all we needed was the titular Peak to set the scene. Now in Glorantha rather than just looking "a bit like a bear"…

Lion Rampant Wars of the Roses

Lots going on in "the real world" for me at the moment. A situation that's likely to continue for a while. So I'm way behind on posting up some games and also gaming has slowed right down. This is a game I played with General B way back at the end of April. I can't really remember what happened at all, so here's the eye candy. Lion Rampant with General B. is always a good time, so I'm sure it was…

Wormaster 2026 - Game Three: Kislev v Wood Elves

And so to the final game. Usually every Warmaster Tournament I go to I end up playing regular opponent Alan. Only Alan couldn't make it this time, so instead in game three I ended up playing regular opponent Andy with his Wood Elves. Which was all good with me. The table was ludicrously scenery heavy. The organisers were experimenting with ways to reduce the (IMO entirely fictitious) perceived…

Wormaster 2026 - Game Two: Kislev v Chaos

Ok, time has very much moved on and my memory is growing dim, but here's the pictures and what little I can remember from game two. After my unexpected success in round one I found myself at the dizzy heights of table ten where i was to face Connor and his Chaos. We were in the desert. of course we were, Where else would Kislev be most likely to fight Chaos, eh? My light horse crested a hill -…

Wormaster 2026 - Game One: Kislev v Lizards

Wormaster is one of my favourite wargame events of the year. Held in Worcester (hence the name) and this was the 4th one I'd been to. Andy and I travelled down together, Alan was indisposed abd I was taking the Kislev forces for what may be their final tournament outing for a while - I'm hoping to have a new army for Summer Sizzler. First game I was drawn against John, who I'd met at last year's…

Chain of Command Normandy (2)

After some real life stuff and then a much needed holiday in Portugal General B. and I finally reconvened to play out some Chain of Command. It's great having places you can leave your game set up and then come back to it a month later and just carry on! Anyway, just a few quick pics of what turned out to be something of an easy victory for the Germans Got a few posts to catch up as well. Good to…
