Tomorrow’s Women sponsored the UN Forum Women Leading Peace, on March 9, 2026, a global civil society gathering for gender equality, in partnership with the UN Commission on the Status of Women. We listened to young women’s voices on the ground – our alum in Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel.
Hadeel, 24, a West Bank Palestinian:
“We are living together in the same land. So at least we should try to stay alive together. I try to do what I can because I don’t want my future children to live through what I have lived through.”
Shai, 17, an Israeli from Tel Aviv:
“I find it so infuriating to know how small meaning people give to life these days and how people in power positions just risk everything in order to save their interest, and especially causing us to be in this never-ending cycle of wars that I’m supposed to call my life.”
We’ll be publishing more of these voices in the next few posts.
