Scientists at Western Nevada College, led by the legendary “Dyes Ted Talk Professor” Dr. Rebecca Bevans, are on a mission to study how synthetic food dyes, like Red 40, Yellow 5, and Blue 1, affect kids and adults. Some people notice reactions, and some don’t.
To accomplish their goal, they are gathering information through a survey that is sure to make an impact, helping align our human experiences with the science. Take thirty minutes to take the survey—your voice matters.

Exciting news! The Tennessee Bill banning synthetic dyes in Tennessee schools has passed, and Target will stop selling cereals containing synthetic colors by the end of May. This is a huge step forward for families looking to reduce exposure to harmful additives.
These changes reflect a growing awareness of the impact dyes can have on children, and we’re thrilled to see momentum building nationwide.
🚨 Lobbyists showed up to oppose the TN bill, but sometimes the loudest voice in the room is a mom. Whitney, our To Dye For: The Documentary Mom, shared how removing synthetic dyes changed our son’s life—and the room went quiet. Watch a Clip: Click Here
Big thanks to Rep. Michele Reneau for sponsoring this important bill!
